Home > Drinking Water Tanks & Elevated Tanks
The Drinking Water Ordinance requires operators to perform regular maintenance and inspections of their water storage tanks. We provide professional internal cleaning and disinfection of drinking water tanks, elevated tanks, and water towers, in compliance with the DVGW W291 standard, fully documented, and on schedule. For water procurement associations, municipal utilities, and local water suppliers.
We handle the entire cleaning cycle for your storage tank—whether it’s a drinking water tank, elevated tank, water tower, or reservoir—in full compliance with DVGW W291 standards and with complete documentation. The four key services:
High-pressure cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, and built-in components, including the removal of sediment and biofilm.
Disinfection of all interior surfaces and components that come into contact with water in accordance with DVGW W291.
Cleaning and disinfection of the inlet and outlet lines, including pressure flushing.
Drinking water sampling, microbiological testing, and approval for resumption of operation, documented with a report and laboratory results.

We'll work around your schedule
Charter assignments between charter changes, during the winter season, or while the boat is in the shipyard. We plan around the owner’s and charter schedules, not the other way around.
We work discreetly
Experienced, vetted personnel, professional demeanor, clear communication with the captain, chief engineer, or management. Confidentiality agreement available upon request.
We deliver quality you can measure
Every service call concludes with documentation and, upon request, lab results: water quality in black and white for owners and guests.
Fleet Solution
For shipping companies with multiple vessels, we offer maintenance contracts with fixed terms, a central point of contact, and predictable maintenance intervals for each ship.
Depending on the size and condition, this usually takes one to a few days. We coordinate the shutdown with your operations staff to ensure that service is maintained through backup capacity.
After disinfection, we take drinking water samples; the microbiological analysis is conducted in accordance with the Drinking Water Ordinance. We will not approve the system for recommissioning until the test results are satisfactory. You will receive the laboratory report for your records.
The DVGW regulations recommend regular inspections and cleaning as needed. After the initial cleaning, we will provide you with a recommended maintenance schedule, which can be arranged as a maintenance contract upon request.
