Drinking Water Hygiene and System Cleaning for the Navy and Government Agencies

From frigates to launches: For over 30 years, we have been working on German Navy vessels—mostly as security-cleared subcontractors on behalf of shipyards, and, when necessary, directly on behalf of the Navy. If you’re looking for a partner who understands the requirements on board—technically, organizationally, and in terms of security—you’ve come to the right place.

Why the Navy Trusts Us

Safety is at the heart of our human resources policy

Every employee—from office staff to foremen to service technicians and engineers—has undergone a Level 2 security clearance; Level 2 is the security clearance conducted by the Military Counter-Intelligence Service (MAD). Some of our colleagues are former Marines themselves and are familiar with shipboard routines and Bundeswehr structures from their own experience.

The partner that shipyards bring on board.

Most of our naval projects are carried out as subcontractors through shipyards and their competitive bidding processes; a smaller portion is handled directly with the Navy. We integrate seamlessly into shipyard schedules, construction management, and procurement processes—with robust bids, detailed cost breakdowns, and the documentation required for procurement and classification. → Learn more on this page [Werften].

We know the standards.

Military standards such as AQAP, building codes, and VG standards are part of our daily routine—as are reporting requirements on board: If something goes wrong, we let someone know. We document everything.

We're right where your units are located.

Organized on a decentralized basis with regional coordinators in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania—to ensure quick response times from Emden to Rostock.

Frigates · Corvettes · Submarines · Task Group Support Ships · Mine Countermeasure Vessels · Fuel Tenders · Tenders · Training Ships · Fleet Service Boats · Security Boats · Barges—as well as ships belonging to the Federal Police and Customs, and research and survey vessels.

At sea and on land—compliant with standards, documented, and safety-checked.

Typical duties on board

On board, many systems are interconnected—drinking water systems, seawater cooling systems, and air systems, culminating in laboratory testing. We handle all of this work as a single, integrated service—coordinated and fully documented—so that your vessel is back in service on schedule. The four most common tasks:

Disinfection of Drinking Water Systems

In accordance with DVGW W291/W300 and VDI 6023, including the marine guideline for the disinfection of drinking water systems on ships and boats.

Pipeline and System Cleaning

From the seawater cooling line to high-pressure/low-pressure air systems and NBC spray systems: We clean virtually every onboard system.

Ventilation and Exhaust Air Cleaning

HVAC systems, air ducts, and galley exhaust, including a hygiene inspection in accordance with VDI 6032.

Sampling & Laboratory Analysis

Sampling in accordance with DIN ISO 5667, analysis in an accredited laboratory, and release documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the orders come directly from the Navy or through the shipyard?

Both. The majority of our work is carried out as a subcontractor through shipyards and their solicitations, while a smaller portion is handled directly with the Navy through personal contacts. In both cases, we provide the bids, supporting evidence, and documentation required for contract award and classification.

Yes. Every employee—from office staff to service technicians—has undergone a Ü2 security clearance (security clearance conducted by the Military Counterintelligence Service, MAD). We have decades of experience dealing with military security, access controls, and reporting procedures.

Yes, that's our standard procedure. We integrate ourselves into the shipyard's schedule and coordinate with the construction management team and the crew. We clearly define in advance what preparatory work is required.

Thanks to our decentralized organization, with teams in three federal states, we can be deployed at short notice at our locations in northern Germany—even on an unscheduled basis in an emergency.
